Americus Rugged M/T tires are built for truck and SUV drivers who want a true mud-terrain option for mud, dirt, sand, gravel, ruts, rocks, and backcountry routes. At Stokes Tire Service, this model is a traction-first choice with a premium hi-void tread pattern, deep functional buttress elements, self-cleaning tread, and stone ejectors designed for hard off-road use.
Americus also offers durable 3-ply construction on select sizes for added protection from off-road hazards and punctures, along with jointless spray nylon overwraps for toughness. The current catalog includes four sizes, all Q-rated, with LT Load Range E fitments in 245/75-16, 265/75-16, and 285/70-17, plus a non-LT 275/70-18.
