Kumho ECSTA 4X Tires

The Ecsta 4X (KU22) is Kumho's affordable Ultra High Performance All-Season tire. The tire is developed for sport cars and performance sedans. Designed to blend responsive handling and capable cornering, the Kumho Ecsta 4X provides superb year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, and light snow. For fast response and sporty handling, the Ecsta 4X uses an advanced silica-infused compound set into an asymmetric tread pattern featuring large outboard shoulder and intermediate tread blocks. An irregular center rib allows the tire to keep continuous contact with the road that results in noise reduction, excellent cornering stability and straight-line tracking. Kumho's ESCOT "tension control, optimization" technology is used in developing the tire’s casing. This offered the engineers the option of tuning the bead, sidewall and shoulder to enhance the tire’s footprint pressure distribution and uniformity. The tread area is stabilized by high-tensile steel belts and spirally wrapped joint less cap to boost handling, high-speed durability and uniformity.
