Kumho ROAD VENTURE MT51 Tires

Kumho developed the Road Venture MT51 as an Off-Road Maximum Traction tire especially for drivers of pickup trucks, jeeps, full-size SUVs and committed off-road vehicles that need a tire durable enough to manage extreme conditions, while not sacrificing on-road driving comfort. Molding an off-road arranged tread compound into a regular tread design, the Road Venture MT51 is designed to handle the toughest terrain. Wide tread blocks strategically shaped combine in mud, on rock crawling with on-road comfort, while stepped; three-level block edges make the best use of off-road traction. Interchanging, scalloped outboard shoulder nicks and upper sidewall pattern combine to deliver improved grip on the loose road and provide the additional safeguard from punctures. Deep circumferential grooves featuring a zigzag design increase traction in mud and eject stones, while in-block sipes create extra biting edges to deliver wet as well as snow traction. The Road Venture MT51 inner structure is designed for durability and good on-road civility. The two-ply polyester casing (three-ply in load range E sizes) provides further puncture resistance and improved ride quality. Two high-tensile steel belts reinforced with an unbroken nylon cover ply enhance belt stability, and improve uniformity to deliver a smooth ride and help high-speed handling, whereas the advanced bead outline minimizes movement of the bead below the load and provide improved ride comfort and better steering response and handling.
