Pirelli has designed the Scorpion Verde All Season RFT tire for drivers of sport utility vehicles, crossovers and pickups. Run flat tire (RFT) is one of the salient features of Pirelli Self Supporting Run Flat Innovative Technology. Scorpion Verde All Season is top of the line product from Pirelli, with great concern for environment safety, fuel economy and reduction in carbon dioxide gas emissions. The silica tread compound used in the manufacturing of the tire plays a critical role in the shape and asymmetrical tread design of the Scorpion Verde All Season Run Flat. Four wide circumferential grooves prevent water from collecting and provide resistance to hydroplaning. The lateral stability is obtained with longitudinal sipes. Inside the polyester cord body are twin steel belts to give strength and durability to the tire.
